Yeah, it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these :p I got weirdly busy last month, plus I had a seriously bad case of procrastination. Because of that, a lot of these are pretty old, so you’ve probably read most of them. But I feel like posting them anyway. :)

Going In To Give by Chard. In which Chard reminds us that going into get is not nearly as fulfilling as going in to give.

The Beauty of Words (2) by Ally. I’m a writer, so obviously, I love words. And all of these are gorgeous and need to be used way more.

Your Bookshelf Speaks! Also by Chard. Sort of self-explanatory this one, but so true: your bookshelf has a lot to say about who you are.

How to READ fiction by Lish. I LOVE this post. It is so good and so true: what you read becomes a part of you, so it’s vital to know who you actually are before you let someone else’s opinions creep in.

Labels by Koko. I LOVE THIS ONE TOO. It’s so gorgeous, and it was so timely for me. You must read it. That, by the way, is a command.

I Am Seven by Liz. Much different and more serious than most of the things I read, but it’s gorgeously written, and I think it’s really brave of Liz to talk about all this.

Dear Favorite Characters by Alea. It’s a letter to our favorite characters, expressing our feelings and offering hugs. It’s really quite pretty.

6 Tricks to Mastering the Art of Imagery by Mrs. Barbara Hartzler. Also pretty self-explanatory title, and it’s a very helpful post.

NaNoWriMo, Anyone? by Bailey. In which Bailey declares NaNo.

My Favorite Motivations by Alison. In which Alison is my kindred spirit, lol. Just kidding, but I also adore rainy days and instrumental music. Together, with a book and some coffee/tea/hot chocolate, they are the perfect combo.

And that’s it for this week(s)! What are some of your favorite writing or reading motivations? Favorite words? Are you doing NaNo this year? Comment me, and don’t forget to check out all the awesome posts!

  2. Oh my land, thank you so much for the mention, Alexa! <3 This was a super post!

AHH THESE WERE ALL SO GOOD. I think my favourites were, How Your Bookshelf Speaks, the Dear Favourite Characters one :D , and the one of NaNoWriMo because HAHAHA, that was so expressive and great. XD
My favourite word is 'glorious'. XD What about you? :D

Yes, I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year, but I'm a bit nervous as I haven't a plan yet. D: And I always fear that I WILL FAIL, but I won't, so. XD Other than that, I am excited for it. ;) I just love how they track your progress, like, that just motivates me, seeing that little stats line go higher and higher, lol. But, what about you? :)

    1. No problem! Glad you enjoyed it! :)

I LOVE THE WORD GLORIOUS!!! I also love to say gorgeous, irrelevant, preposterous, and ridiculous. IDK, why, but they are just awesome.

Haha, I think all of us go through that phase of worry, but I'm sure you'll do awesome! :D
      I know! I love that too <3
I REALLY REALLY want to, but I'm not sure I'll have time. If I do, I'll probably end up deciding on October 31st, lol and then frantically trying to figure out my story idea in 24 hours.
One person suggested doing a series of short stories, though. one every day. And that sounds like a cool idea to me. I might try that instead.
