So I (finally) watched Battle of the Five Armies Friday night, and basically spent the entire weekend drowning in feels. Because all the fanmade videos, fanfictions, and fangirling with friends wasn’t enough, I then decided to find this song performed by Pippin from Lord of the Rings, and wallow in feelings from all six movies instead of just the last one. Brilliant, right?

Since no one should have to feel pain alone, I then decided to share this song with all of you, my dear readers. So, yeah. Listen away!

Now that you have had at least some small sampling of my pain, are you guys... well, I actually have no idea what people call Hobbit and LotR fans, but I’m gonna call us Hobbits, kay? So are any of you Hobbits? If so, which of the movies is your favorite?

  1. Hi, Alexa!
This is one of my favorite songs! And I know exactly how you feel... there was some serious wallowing going on after I watched it. I still haven't recovered. :)
Have a great day, and good luck recovering from the sorrows!

    1. It's great, isn't it?
And yeah, I don't think my heart will ever be the same! Thanks, though! :D

  2. Wow Pippin has a great voice, and love that song too. Precious babies... Communal fanwallowing is the best- it was killer when Rebecca and I had seen it and you hadn't, we had no one to wallow with!!! I'm definitely partial to the Hobbit movies, but I believe that's because I adore the book. xD

    1. He does, though! It was perfect for this song.
Lol, yes, it's really the only thing that helps the pain. Or at least the best thing. And now that I've seen Battle, we can wallow together whenever you wish. :)
I actually haven't read any of the books (wanted to see the movies first, just this once), but I might sometime, now that I've seen all the movies. :D And I think I like the Hobbit movies better, too, though I do adore LOTR.

  3. This is beautiful! I haven't seen the final Hobbit movie yet, but I need to! I love his singing voice, though. It sounds like a voice from home, calling you back and remembering something that isn't there anymore...

      /Ahem./
Pippin does have a beautiful voice, doesn't he? I never thought about it that way, but I think that's the perfect way to describe it. I guess it's why he was so perfect for this song.
