Hey there! Didn’t expect to see me again, did you? Well, I figured no time like the present to get started on my new plans, and every fangirl loves to gush about her OTPs. So.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Out of their prompts for this week, I chose to talk about:

My Top Ten OTPs

1. Anakin and Padme from Star Wars

I feel like I may have mentioned them before. Maybe more than once. *shrugs* Oh well.

2. Peeta and Katniss from The Hunger Games

I’d need a whole post (maybe a series of them) to explain everything I adore about these two. Perhaps a future Shipping Saturday will feature them.

3. Arman and Glacia from Resonance

I don’t have a pic for these two (if anyone has fanart, that would be fantastic), but seriously, they are adorable. Their dynamic is so strong, so cute, basically beyond perfect, and godsofolympus I just adore them. (somewhat more coherent review of the book they’re featured in can be found here)

4. Laurie and Jo from Little Women

Yeah. 150 years after its publication, and I’ll still insist they were meant to be.

5. Chase and Ellie from The Revised life of Ellie Sweet

These two, though. Chase is a brilliant mix of the best-friend-love-interest and the mysterious-bad-boy and I ship it so... freaking... hard. (which reminds me,  I really need to read the second book).

6. Miri and Peder from Princess Academy

Again, no actual art, but these two are really quite cute. Plus, I’m a sucker for the old childhood-best-friends-fall-in-love storyline.

7. Alexander and Eliza from the Hamilton Musical:

It counts because the musical is based on a book, and if their songs together don’t give you feelings, I don’t know what will.

8. Winter and Jacin from Winter

So all the couples in this series are ridiculously cute together, but these two take the crown in my opinion. And I can’t even explain why because spoilers galore, but they make me feel like this whenever I read their scenes together:

9. Laura and Almanzo from Little House on the Prairie.

So this is kind of weird, because they too were real. But they’re actually quite adorable together. Like, just read the books where they’re courting and see if you don’t feel fuzzies.

I dare you.

10. Joseph and Mary

Yes, another real couple. And for some reason, I feel weirdest about this one. But (aside from Anakin and Padme), these two are my OTP beyond any other OTP because of the way they’re depicted in The Nativity Story (and it counts because The Nativity Story is based on the Bible. So there).

So 3 out of 10 of these were actually real couples. I don’t know what that means about me, but I feel like it’s an interesting observation.

Another interesting observation, this was actually harder than I thought it was going to be, because there are a lot of couples that I ship, but not very many that I would label OTPs, like THESE TWO ARE FLIPPING ADORABLE AND I LOVE THEM AND THEY SHOULD LOVE EACH OTHER AND THEY ARE MEANT TO BE FOREVER AND EVER. Most of them are more like, yeah, you’re cute while I’m reading, but I’ll forget you even existed in like two days. IDK why. Guess I’m just not very romantic. :p
