Hiya!
- Alexa Mintah
- Alexandria, better known as Alex or Alexa, is a strange Christian-fangirl-YA-writer medley tucked away in an undisclosed location in Virginia. She loves creating worlds out of keystrokes, discovering adorable ships (platonic or romantic), and becoming besties with clever characters who wow her with love and brilliance. When only half spellbound by her many worlds of words, she can be found working amongst the stacks in her local library.

I love Fall Out Boy—I think they just came out with a song using The Munsters riff, and it's totally fun. Anyway, I don't think it reminds me of being a teenager, but rather being alive in general. That idea of legacy just makes me swoon. :D
ReplyDeleteCool, I'll check that out. Do you know what the song's called?
DeleteAh, that's an even better description! And yeah, that idea is pretty awesome. I guess it's why I love the song so much.
I love this song! So catchy, and I had it on repeat for about a week the first time I heard it. I also loved Big Hero 6, but my friend (who had watched it before) was surprised how I predicted what would happen a minute later. I guess that was my writer mind spurring into action. XD
ReplyDeleteHaha, I can see how that would happen! It really is good.
DeleteAnd yeah, I felt the same way. I loved the movie, but it was kinda predictable.
I knew I'd heard this song before! (People play a lot of music during PE at school and stuff and this and other situations is almost the only way I find out about pop music) I think it does reflect being a teenager in a way, but then I'm not really an averaged teenager. As a teenager, I find it hard to imagine the future, and I can't imagine being old, or less healthy and blessed with youth as I am now. I guess I'm a very unsympathetic person. Anyway, I'm a new reader, my blog is https://weavingwaveswords.wordpress.com and it's nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteOh, I find it difficult to imagine being old as well; but at the same time, I know it's coming. IDK, did that make any sense? lol
DeleteAnd thanks for reading my blog! It's nice to meet you too! I will totally check yours out. :)
I've just recently gotten into Fall Out Boy and I think this song is great! (I also heard it on Big Hero 6 for the first time - such a cute movie!)
ReplyDeleteAs for recs, I really like their songs Centuries and Uma Thurman - they've got the same fun live-forever vibe to them :-)
Centuries is awesome! And I just watched the video for Uma Thurman, lol. That was crazy!
