Hiya!
- Alexa Mintah
- Alexandria, better known as Alex or Alexa, is a strange Christian-fangirl-YA-writer medley tucked away in an undisclosed location in Virginia. She loves creating worlds out of keystrokes, discovering adorable ships (platonic or romantic), and becoming besties with clever characters who wow her with love and brilliance. When only half spellbound by her many worlds of words, she can be found working amongst the stacks in her local library.

I actually really dislike rap music, but that song was pretty good. I liked the chorus especially; fit with the music video, it was really neat. :D It took me a few seconds to figure out the end though. I kept thinking, "Is that the guy coming back to life or somebody else reaching for his body frantically?!" Haha.
ReplyDeleteAnd it also reminded me of another really good music video-- have you seen Highway Don't Care by Tim McGraw (with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban)? If not, YOU MUST. It's so awesome (in my opinion anyway, ha!). I get chills every time!
Haha, yeah, that part could be a bit confusing, but the video is totally amazing. Glad you liked it! And the chorus is my favorite part too!
DeleteJust watched the vid! Great song, and funnily enough, the chorus is my favorite part of that one too.
This is one of the few Manafest songs I know, and I definitely love it. It has that idea where it feels like your life even if it isn't the life you're living.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the chorus especially just has a universal feel. :) You should check out more of his music if you like the rock/rap sound. He's awesome!
