Hiya!
- Alexa Mintah
- Alexandria, better known as Alex or Alexa, is a strange Christian-fangirl-YA-writer medley tucked away in an undisclosed location in Virginia. She loves creating worlds out of keystrokes, discovering adorable ships (platonic or romantic), and becoming besties with clever characters who wow her with love and brilliance. When only half spellbound by her many worlds of words, she can be found working amongst the stacks in her local library.
This sounds really good! Recently I've been thinking about whether the very nature of being a teenager, aka teenager culture--pop songs, 'laziness', achievement, dating, whatever--can even fit with what Jesus asks us to do by being Christian. There are certainly some teenager things that seem normal and I don't think are christian, but is the whole culture? I've been wanting to read more books about faith--make that any books about faith, and I'll definitely look this book up!
ReplyDeleteThat's basically what the book talks about! Hope you read it and enjoy it! Let me know what you think!
DeleteI'm seeing the pendulum swing in our society. People (and many of these people are teens) are ready to embrace a more profound way of living and thinking about life. Glad you posted this today. It sounds like a book I'd like to read and share.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad! I hope you enjoy it if you do!
DeleteWasn't this one so good? Your review is so real. I loved it. I tend to be suspicious of books targeted at Christian teens but this one was excellent!

DeleteHey Alexa,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your review. I was asked to review "This Changes Everything" for another blog, so I looked around to see what other reviewers wrote! I'm encouraged to see a positive review. I thought it was a great book.
